Ueng Foundation
Our Mission Statement In cooperation with the department of education, to date, we have targeted 10 schools which have been provided with computer labs. The selected staff members of these schools have been provided and have successfully completed their computer teaching training which was given by Payap University in Chiangmai, Thailand. This well respected local university has provided it's training program in conjunction with the efforts of Dok Ueng foundation. All trained teachers have returned to their local campuses to pass on their newly acquired knowledge to the students at then respective rural schools. Our computer lab installation program began in 2001. By 2003, Dok Ueng foundation had installed 80 computers on 10 rural campuses. Now, over 2,000 rural students are able to use and learn computer technology as a result of our program. In addition in 2003, Dok Ueng added a "special needs" program which provides funding and support to abandoned children and children, who have shown excellent learning abilities, that are from families with economic needs. Our desire to expand our program and help even more of our children is great. However, we cannot do so without your added help and support. Your donations of time, energy and especially financial contributions will unsure that our program continues to grow and expand. Making these opportunities available to more children in our rural northern areas is our goal. With your help we can do this! Our foundation director is Mr.Sayan Suriyakam. You may contact us at:
We want to do more! Won't you help us. We look forward to your contribution of time, effort or financial support. Thank you in advance, for all that you give. ความเป็นมา
